Ankylosing Spondylitis : Carrot Stick Fracture
In Ankylsoing spondylitis : Carrot Stick fractures usually occur through the disco-vertebral junction in the lower cervical or upper thoracic spine. When several contiguous segments of the spine are fused, the fused column acts as a lever arm.
