How Important is "Scholarly Concentration"?

I see that a lot of schools offer "scholarly concentration programs" such as urban med, rural med, public health, etc. When it comes to residency applications and beyond, is this something that anyone will care about? Could it hurt you if you decide on a specialty that's outside of that concentration? For example if you apply to a "non-rural" residency, say neurosurgery, will having attended a rural health concentration be a red flag/mark against you? Thanks!
