Prevention of transient bacteremia following impacted lower 3rd molar surgery: A randomized triple ‐blind controlled trial of chlorhexidine mouthrinse and amoxicillin
Conclusion0.3% CHX is effective in preventing postoperative bacteremia for at least 15 minutes, and may be considered as a prophylaxis antiseptic prior to 3rd molar surgery.
