Conclusions: Overall, the limited error of measurement is evident based on average score reliability estimates for the PNSE and BPNES. Interpretation of the moderator analyses reinforces the importance of understanding the role of sampling and instrument modification on score reliability in exercise psychology research using the PNSE and BPNES.
