Optimal Management of Clinical T2n0 Gastric Adenocarcinomas: Surgery or Chemotherapy First?

Randomized control trials have demonstrated that locally advanced gastric adenocarcinoma benefits from perioperative chemotherapy (PC) and surgery. Patients with clinical T2N0 (cT2N0) gastric adenocarcinoma were included in these trials, however, the benefit of PC remains unclear due to small number of included patients. The goal of this study was to determine the role and sequencing of chemotherapy for cT2N0 gastric adenocarcinoma undergoing surgical resection.
