Higher prevalence of diabetic retinopathy among female Chinese diabetic patients with metabolic syndrome
ConclusionIn this study cohort, female patients with MetS had a higher prevalence of DR. Patients tended to have thinner central retinal arterioles as the number of MetS components increased.
