Endoscopic full-thickness resection for pancreatic fluid collection drainage: not yet there

We found the case report along with the video by Liu et  al1 in the At the Focal Point section to be very interesting. Direct endoscopic necrosectomy (DEN) is effective in treating patients with infected pancreatic fluid collection (PFC), especially walled-off necrosis (WON) having significant solid debris. Multicenter studies in Germany and the United States have shown high clinical success with DEN.2-4
