AbstractOral cancer is a global problem with an annual incidence of 355,000 cases.1 The purpose of surgical resection is to annihilate the gross aspect and also to find a balance in the intricate anatomical structures of the head and neck between the functional outcomes for safe oncological clearance. It is known that post-resection oral cancer can cause pain, discomfort, and facial disfigurement.2 Liwewise, adjuvant chemoradiation shuts down the immune system with long-term effects.
