The Case | Cardiac tamponade in a kidney transplant recipient with chronic inflammation
A 45-year-old woman presented with Denys-Drash syndrome who had received a kidney transplant at the age of 12 years. The maintenance immunosuppressive regimen included cyclosporine, azathioprine, and steroids. Her basal creatinine level was 100 μmol/l. The patient was born in France. She was not working, and she had traveled to Australia and Tahiti 25 years prior and to Italy and Canada in 2019.
