The race against infertility: exploring the relationship between bmi and serum amh levels in different ethnicities

Polycystic ovaries syndrome (PCOS) is characterized by hormonal and metabolic imbalances that affect many aspects of a woman ’s life: physical appearance, menstruation cycle, reproductive health and more. While the exact cause of PCOS is unknown, it is clear that PCOS varies in presentation. Researchers are constantly investigating factors that may cause or contribute to infertility in women with PCOS. One of these fact ors include serum anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) levels. AMH levels are a strong indicator of a woman’s ovarian reserve and as a result, it is often measured to predict a woman's chances at a successful pregnancy.
