Platelet function in patients undergoing surgical and transcatheter aortic valve replacement: a comparative study

CONCLUSIONS: Standard surgical aortic valve replacement is associated with a more pronounced platelet reaction to intervention-induced injury, as compared to the transcatheter-based procedure.
