Opioid Claims Prior to Elective Total Joint Arthroplasty and Risk of Prolonged Postoperative Opioid Claims

CONCLUSION: Opioid claims in the preoperative year markedly increase risk of prolonged postoperative opioid claims after arthroplasty.
