IL ‐19 ameliorates experimental autoimmune encephalitis

AbstractInterleukin ‐19 (IL‐19) is one of IL‐10 family cytokines that are highly similar to IL‐20 and IL‐241. The receptor of IL ‐19 is the heterodimer of IL‐20 receptor α subunit (IL‐20 Rα) and β subunit (IL‐20Rβ), and its downstream signaling is mediated by STAT3 phosphorylation. Main source of IL‐19 is activated monocyte‐lineage cell including microglia and macrophages1, 2.
