Enough with the eye rolling and blame game over the measles outbreak (Guest column)

The recent measles outbreak has brought an onslaught of media attention to the topic of vaccinations and preventing diseases nearly eradicated from this country. The last 15 years has seen a waxing and waning in vaccine confidence, followed by a drop in the coverage rates. Unfortunately, around the country, we have seen an increase in cases of measles, mumps, whooping cough and meningococcal meningitis.
