Diagnosing heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) remains challenging. We aimed to evaluate the generalizability of the HFA-PEFF and H2FPEF diagnostic algorithms and associations with HF severity, coronary microvascular dysfunction and proteomic biomarkers.
