Clinical Implications of the “Brush Sign” in Susceptibility-Weighted Imaging for Moyamoya Disease

Conclusion: The findings strongly suggest that the presence of the “brush sign” preoperatively can be a predictor of infarction after surgical revascularization for ischemic MMD.
