Parallel Grafting Should Be Considered as a Viable Alternative to Open Repair in High-Risk Patients with Paravisceral Aortic Aneurysms.
Parallel grafting presents a viable method for treating complex aortic aneurysms. Current available endografts are limited to treating infra-renal and juxta-renal aneurysms with restrictive anatomic specifications. Branched devices are only available for investigational use in North America, and custom-made endografts do not address the urgency that some of our patients present with, both having further anatomic limitations [1].
