Enrichment of marine manganese-oxidizing microorganisms using polycaprolactone as a solid organic substrate.

CONCLUSIONS: Our data demonstrate that PCL can serve as a potential substrate to enrich Mn-oxidizing microorganisms with the ability to produce MnOx under marine conditions.
