Impact of Lockdown COVID-19 on Metabolic Control in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Healthy People

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), due to SARS-CoV-2 viral infection, outbreak forced Turkey to begin lockdown on 20 March 2020. Schools, hospitals, universities, restaurants, and most public entertainment areas, including sports arenas, cafes, and swimming pools were closed in this period. Travel ban has been applied between cities. There had been a nearly complete lockdown for under 18, over 65 aged people, and people who had chronic diseases (diabetes, chronic obstructive lung disease, cancer, etc.).
