Colonic ulcers caused by retained batteries

A 32-year-old female with borderline personality disorder arrived to the emergency department complaining about abdominal pain and anorexia. The patient had history of sixteen upper endoscopies with removal of foreign objects, and two abdominal surgeries due to of impacted battery in the ileocecal valve.
