Risk of Liver Dysfunction after Left Ventricular Assist Device Implantation.

CONCLUSIONS: RVSWI, RAP, CPBT, and UF were each more strongly associated with elevated risk of INT-LD after LVAD implant than Tbili. Thus, optimization of right ventricular hemodynamics and minimizing CBPT and UF could potential reduce the risk of LD, but these observations require prospective validation.
