15.3 eating disorder clinical experience and comfort level among current psychiatry residents, fellows, and attendings

For child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship programs, there is no specific Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirement regarding a training experience in eating disorders (EDs). Child and adolescent psychiatrists may leave fellowship training with variable knowledge in the assessment and treatment of EDs. This qualitative study reports on self-reported didactic and clinical experience in medical school and residency, and it explores the relationship with comfort level of treating patients with ED.
