ConclusionsAltered thalamocortical anatomical connectivity, especially reduced PFC-thalamic connectivity, is a transdiagnostic feature of psychosis detectable in the early stage of illness. Further work is required to elucidate the functional consequences of the full spectrum of thalamocortical connectivity abnormalities in psychosis.
