We’ve all been there before. A minor injury leads to a sore ankle, achy shoulder, or sore neck. You could do nothing, try to ignore it, and see if it gets better. Conclusion: These findings support VGAIT as a promising method for pain management. PMID: 32684925 [PubMed - in process]
Conclusions: Among responders, the prescribing prevalence of at least one CAM therapy was high. Sports medicine physicians utilized a number of different CAM modalities to treat common sports medicine pathologies. PMID: 32663181 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
CONCLUSION: We did not find evidence to support the notion that there are exceptional acupuncture responders. The challenge remains to identify features of chronic pain patients that can be used to distinguish those that have a good response to acupuncture treatment. ConclusionThe treatment duration of acupuncture will not be less than 5 weeks. Higher analgesic effect was related to higher baseline pain intensity and pain location of neck, shoulder and knee.
