The Relationship Between Frailty, Obesity and Social Deprivation in Non-Institutionalized Elderly People

ConclusionsObesity (BMI ≥ 30kg / m2 and high waist circumference) was associated with increased frailty among older, non-institutionalized women who came for a periodic health prevention examination. Screening and prevention of obesity in the elderly appears to be a major public health issue, and remains a priority target for action.
