Survey of chest radiography systems: Any link between contrast detail measurements and visual grading analysis?

Digital chest radiography is one of the most frequently performed X-ray examinations [1]. Chest X-rays are a fast way to rule out cardiac or respiratory diseases [2]. Compared to other techniques like computed tomography, they are easily accessible, inexpensive and the dose delivered to the patient is relatively low [1,3]. The modality is still characterized by many innovations, such as new types of detectors [4]. Appropriate image quality can help in the improvement of their diagnosis accuracy.
