Soft tissue injuries are painful injuries of the musculoskeletal system that occur after sprains, strains, and muscle contusions. Pain control is required in the management of these patients. Providing adequate pain control can allow patients to return to their regular physical activities by allowing early controlled mobilization, as well as patient comfort [1].
