4. Genetic analysis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia developed after treatment with lenalidomide for multiple myeloma

Introduction: Patients with multiple myeloma (MM) who are treated with lenalidomide maintenance therapy can be subsequently diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). To describe the clonal dynamics of this transformation, we performed somatic and germline sequence analysis of six patients who developed Philadelphia chromosome-negative (Ph-negative) ALL after a primary diagnosis of MM while on/or after maintenance therapy with lenalidomide.
