ConclusionsThis is the first evidence that SNAI1 and SNAI2 are involved in human spermatogenesis, with independent functions. These findings show the potential for therapeutic treatments targeting SNAIL or BMP4 signalling for patients with metastatic testicular germ cell tumours.
