Rebutting the IACP ’s Spurious Defense of Qualified Immunity
In conclusion, the IACP ’s defense of qualified immunity is, at best, misleading, counter‐productive, and short‐sighted, and at worst, full of outright misrepresentations. Nevertheless, I can’t help but pity whatever poor soul was charged with the task of actually writing that statement — it’s hard to de fend the indefensible.
