Trends in long-term prognosis according to left ventricular ejection fraction after acute coronary syndrome.

CONCLUSION: The prevalence of reduced left ventricular ejection fraction has decreased and prognosis has improved during the past several years but is still much worse than the prognosis of preserved left ventricular ejection fraction.
