(Taylor& Francis Group) The NHS could save up to £ 89 million a year on unnecessary prescriptions for antibiotics, and further its efforts in the fight against antimicrobial resistance -- if it was to comprehensively introduce already available and accurate point-of-care (POCTs) diagnostic tests.
