TCT: Bivalirudin Beneficial in EUROMAX

SAN FRANCISCO (MedPage Today) -- Initiating bivalirudin (Angiomax) treatment in the ambulance significantly reduced major bleeding and/or death at 30 days in ST-elevation MI patients undergoing PCI, but at increased risk of stent thrombosis, researchers reported here.
