New insights into the obesity paradox in renal cell carcinoma

A recent investigation of the transcriptomic signatures of RCC tumours and peritumoural tissues suggests potential biological mechanisms underlying this effect. However, the clinical utility of BMI in the context of RCC remains uncertain.
