Lower Likelihood of Post-Transplant Graft Failure, Death, and Re-Transplantation in the Era of Direct Acting Antivirals
ConclusionWhile HCV and HCC patients had higher risk of post-LT graft failure and death in the pre-DAA era, the disparity disappeared in the post-DAA era independently of each other. This likely reflects DAAs impact on improving post-LT outcomes among HCV patients and improved HCC patient selection for LT after 2014.
