In Regard to Qi et al

We read with great interest the article by Qi et  al.1 In this paper, the authors reported the biochemical progression-free survival (bPFS) and toxicity results of a randomized phase 3 trial comparing in the postoperative setting (adjuvant or salvage) a dose-escalated radiation therapy (RT) protocol of 72 Gy versus a standard dose of 66 Gy to the prostate bed (PB) using modern image guided techniques. Patients were treated to the whole pelvis (whole pelvis RT) in the majority of the cases (87% of the whole cohort) without androgen deprivation.
