Methods: We included 135 patients who had undergone SILA for acute appendicitis between March 2017 and April 2018 in a single medical center. Of these, 72 (53.3%) patients had received preoperative pain education (group I) and 63 (46.7%) patients had not (group 2). We compared perioperative outcomes and complications between the groups.
