Review of total hip arthroplasty in patients younger than 30 years: mid- to long-term results.
CONCLUSIONS: Surgeons are cautious when considering THA in very young patients despite the significant documented improvement in function and quality of life after THA. This study reports on the mid- to long-term results of THA which will be valuable when advising young patients on the prospects of revision surgery at the time of primary THA.
