Struggling to qualify for 4 UCAS choices
Hey all, hopefully someone has some advice for me from a graduate point of view. Based on my previous academics and poor UKCAT, I'm struggling to find 4 choices where I'd have little or any chance. I appreciate this is a bit of an essay :P
So, I took the UKCAT a few weeks, had a bit of a mare except for DA. Was expecting better in the others compared to how I found it.
Scored:
VR - 550
QR - 570
AR - 510
DA - 860
SJ - band 1
2490 - 622.5 av
So far I've found the most likely options are:
Leicester A100/A101 - looking at their scoring, I would score 49/60 for the 5 year course, but 11/25 for the 4 year course, would these be worth applying for do you think?
Leeds 5 year - meet their requirements and no UKCAT cut off
Would Warwick GEP/KCL 5 year be a bad option as I'm below last years cut offs?
Looked at Aberdeen who could conditionally offer their summer school to get my chemistry standard up, but I wouldn't be able to take 10 weeks off summer even if this was offered.
Sorry for all the questions, hopefully someone can help. Please see my work exp and qualifications below.
