Call for Nominations: Carl Ludwig Distinguished Lecture of the American Physiological Society Neural Control & Autonomic Regulation Section Award: $1,000 and up to $2,000 to cover travel and per diem expenses Submit nomination materials to: Dr. Harold Schultz, Chair of the NCAR section hschultz@unmc.edu Required Materials: 2 or more nomination letters and a CV of nominee Deadline: March 31, 2014 The 12 Distinguished Lectureship Awards are named after outstanding contributors to the disciplinary areas of physiology represented by the 12 APS Sections. The recipient is chosen by the Section as a representative of the best within the discipline. Lecturers present and are active participants at the Experimental Biology meeting. Each year, four of the 12 lecturers give plenary lectures that incorporate the main meeting topic. In the years that sections do not have plenary lectures, the lecturer presents one hour of a featured topic programmed by the section. Each recipient receives a $1,000 honorarium and up to $2,000 to cover travel and per diem expenses incurred during the meeting.
