UNH research: Post-run ice baths not beneficial for strength, soreness
(University of New Hampshire) In a study published in the European Journal of Applied Physiology, University of New Hampshire researchers report that research subjects who engaged in post-exercise cryotheraphy, or ice baths, showed no mitigation of post-exercise strength loss or decreased soreness compared to a control group.
