Predicting Recurrent Oral Corticosteroid Use in the WATCH cohort
Conclusion: Patients in the WATCH cohort are treated at BTS step 4/5 and the majority of patients did not require recurrent OCS courses. Our findings demonstrate the multifactorial nature to recurrent OCS course use despite treatment with high strength controller medications consolidating the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to difficult asthma management.
