Anti-tubercular drug concentrations in Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients - Diabetic vs Non-Diabetic groups

Conclusion: Pharmacokinetics of H and R between both the groups showed no significant difference. PTB-DM group showed trend towards poor clinical response, despite adequate plasma concentrations. Future studies may address higher ATT drug doses in Diabetics with a hope of improving clinical response.
