The role of salivary gland biopsy in the diagnosis of sarcoidosis
Conclusion: In our study, salivary gland biopsy was diagnostic in half of the cases, and in 13.8% of the cases was diagnosed without any other invasive procedure. Therefore, it can be used as a priority biopsy method in patients with clinical and radiological suspicion of sarcoidosis.
