ConclusionsThis work proposed using an acceleration sensor as a reliable method of sleep apnea screening, detection of an apnea event, sending alert to the patient, and detection of the patient lying position. The developed device is more economical, comfortable, and convenient than existing systems for not only the patients but also the doctors. Xia-Gibbs syndrome (XGS) is a relatively new genetic disorder characterized by significant intellectual disability [1]. Other signs and symptoms include global developmental delay, hypotonia, sleep apnea and seizures. About 100 patients worldwide have been identified, all of them in the pediatric age or adulthood. To date, no fetal XGS has been reported. We here report a family with recurrent fetal dysplasia of corpus callosum due to XGS caused by maternal germline mosaicism of an AHDC1 variant.

Conclusions:Children with DD had better PAP adherence expressed as percentage of nights used than TD children. Hours of usage on nights used at 3 and 6 months were similar between groups and improved over time. Higher income and titration at or before 6 months were predictive of adherence in all children.
