Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society/Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation/DePuy Research Grant

The objective of this grant is to facilitate opportunities for female orthopaedic surgeons to pursue research that will increase or enhance knowledge in the area of women’s musculoskeletal health.  DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc. provides support for this program.  Grant proposals for up to $25,000 for up to one year will be considered. Deadline for Application: September 12, 2013 - This is the DUE date, not the postmark date. Period of Grant: July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015 Amount: $25,000 for up to one year. The Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society, DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., and the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation are jointly sponsoring a research grant beginning July, 2013 to advance the scientific training of female orthopaedic surgeons who are members of RJOS.  The goal of this grant is to facilitate opportunities for female orthopaedic surgeons to pursue research that will increase or enhance knowledge in the area of women’s musculoskeletal health and to enhance our understanding of how gender and diversity differences affect the outcomes of orthopaedic procedures.  Candidate may submit either a clinical or basic science proposal.
