Spinal Versus Intracranial Meningioma: Aberrant Expression of CD10 and Inhibin with Relation to Clinicopathological Features and Prognosis.

In conclusion, spinal meningiomas differ than intracranial ones in many clinicopathological and biological aspects. Among these differences is CD10 expression being more expressed in spinal meningiomas. However CD10 and inhibin are aberrantly expressed in a proportion of meningiomas, both have no relations to poor prognostic factors but more caution should be exerted during usage of these markers in diagnosis of hemangioblastoma and metastatic RCC. Further studies are suggested for exploring more biological differences between spinal and intracranial meningiomas. PMID: 31372897 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
