Impaired Cardiac Reserve on Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography Predicts Development of Hepatorenal Syndrome

Background: The role of cardiac dysfunction in the genesis of hepatorenal syndrome (HRS) is poorly understood. We studied cardiovascular haemodynamics in HRS and assessed whether a diminished cardiac reserve with stress testing predicted the development of HRS.
