The effect of occupation type on risk of Alzheimer ’s disease in men and women

The high incidence rate of Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a major public health problem [1], even though recent reports show that the age-specific incidence of dementia may be declining [2]. At present, there is no cure for AD. Therefore, it is essential to identify risk factors to prevent or slow down the progress of this disease.
