Gated FDG/CT of the lung using a spirometric respiratory gating device : a feasibility study.

Gated FDG/CT of the lung using a spirometric respiratory gating device : a feasibility study. J Nucl Med Technol. 2019 Apr 24;: Authors: Jaudet C, Filleron T, Weyts K, Didierlaurent D, Vallot D, Ouali M, Zerdoud S, Dierickx OL, Caselles O, Courbon F Abstract Spirometric gating devices (SPI) can measure the respiratory signal with high temporal resolution and accuracy. The primary objective of this study was to assess the feasibility and tolerance of gated lung positron emission tomography / computed tomography (PET/CT) acquisition using SPI. The secondary objective was to compare the technical quality, accuracy and interoperability of SPI to the standard respiratory gating device, Real-time Position Managementâ„¢ (RPM, Varian, Palo Alto, CA, USA), based on vertical thoraco-abdominal displacement measurement.
